1. RESERVE HIRE DATE(S)

Simply tell us about your upcoming project, and we'll estimate the number of days hire you will need.  We'll then book you in for service on the next available hire date(s).  Reserve hire now.

2. PAY DEPOSIT

Pay a 50% deposit of your estimated hire charges at the time of booking.  We'll send you a contract by email that includes all the details you need to make a payment.  Reserve hire now.
We only accept payments by bank transfer

3. PAY BALANCE

On the completion of Digger Hire pay the 50% balance.  Simply pay via another bank transfer.  It really is that easy.  Call now to reserve your hire date(s).

On the day of hire
| Arriving at your works site

Our operator will arrive at 08:00hrs on the day of hire 
  • Hire periods are from 08:00 to 16:00 each day of hire (inc breaks)
  • Operators will take a 15min AM break and a 30 min lunch break followed by a 15 min PM break.  Your total daily hours are 6.50 hours*.
  • Each hour worked beyond 16:00 is charged at 75.00lv (inc VAT)
| When operator arrives at your village they will call you for directions
to your works site.  We always aim to arrive on, or before, 08:00 on the day.

* 15 mins is allowed for unloading and machinery preparation at the start of each hire booking and 15 mins is allowed at the end of each hire period to prepare machinery for loading and transportation. 

Did You Know?
We are fully insured with up to €10 million insured public liability coverage.  Reassuringly, we've never made a claim in 12 years of operations.

On arrival to your works site our operator will ask you about your project and discuss the process, they'll also make some suggestions and provide guidance if required.  They're helpful like that and are happy to advise you.
  • While they're talking about your project they'll be formatting a 'Digging Plan' and will discuss with you how they will manage the day and in what order they will complete tasks.  They will also raise any issues with you.
  • Considerations have to be made for machinery movements around your site, the placing of spoil and other considerations.  Our operator will discuss all this with you to ensure you are aware and happy with their 'Digging Plan'.  Their plan may be amended as works progress.

We operate a specialist fleet of DAF LF45 tipper and support vehicles.  With a gross vehicle weight of 7.5 tonnes they can carry up to 2.5 tonnes of materials, equipment and supplies to and from works sites.  Fitted with onboard weight scales

We Deliver | Materials & Supplies

Skilled Operators

All our operators are fully licensed and certified to operate construction machinery.  They carry all their licenses, certificates and type approval cards.  They're available for inspection on request.

All operators licenses are displayed on the machines they operate.

Mobile Fleet Support
| On-Site Service & Roadside Assistance

Our machinery fleet is backed-up by our own mobile fleet support mechanic.  Our fleet support vehicle is a 'workshop on wheels' and fully fitted with power generator, compressed air system and a variety of tools and equipment to provide on-site service and assistance to our digger fleet, wherever they are in the country.

A selection of spare parts and various lubricants, fluids and other consumables are also carried.  Our mechanic is Komatsu trained.

We support a number of local and regional dog rescue charities with donations from each digger hire revenue.  Every digger hire booking helps us to buy 12 tins of dog food to keep our little canine friends fed and healthy.  A healthy and nutritious meal really makes a difference.
  • All our support vehicles carry tins of dog food, bags of biscuits, doggie treats and fresh water.  We feed street dogs wherever we're working throughout the country.  They just want some food, care and love.  We wish we could save them all.
